New
"ON SALE" pricing for the 2002 Cirrus SR20. Here
is the ride you have been waiting for. 145 KTAS on
9 GPH. Faster than the Arrow on the same fuel, and
it's a simple airplane. No gear and prop to worry
about.
|
 |
The panel is the
typical "six pack" so you already know how where to look
for the flight information you need, but incorporated
into the Turn Coordinator is the autopilot. The
autopilot (George as we like to call it) will keep the
wings level, make turns, or track the heading bug, or
track the GPS course or IFR approach course. In
addition, it will hold altitude.
|
 |
While not a "glass"
cockpit, the avionics are state of the art. Two
Garmin GPS systems drive the navigation and
communications. The first is the GNS430 that also
drives the Avidyne Multi-function display. The
second is the Garmin 250XL. You already know the
GPS in 54T, and this is the VFR version of the same GPS.

Piper
J-3C Cub
 |
The "Cub" is one of the most
challenging airplanes to fly, or maybe better said land.
Since it is a tail wheel airplane, the tail is very
jealous of the engine and always wants to go first.
Naturally this concept is unacceptable so we work to
keep the tail behind us on take off and landing. |
|

|
The
"Cub" is a two place airplane, and the pilot sits in the
rear seat for solo operations. Cruise speed is a
whopping 70 miles per hour and with 12 gallons of fuel
on board the range is about 200 miles.
Just for fun we say, "GPS Prohibited" Look out the
window, after all how lost can you get at 70 MPH. |
| |
We
use the "Cub" in our Sport pilot certification course,
tail wheel endorsements, and pure fun. We lovingly
say that there is no more fun to be had than in the
"Cub" at 70 mph.
|
| |
The
"Cub" is a light weight airplane with a gross weight of
1200 pounds and an empty weight of 767. this gives
you 433 pounds to put in the airplane, including people,
fuel, and baggage.
|
| |
Rental rate is $90.00 per hour on a dry rate. Dry
means that fuel is not included in the rental rate, so
you have total control of the fuel burn rate. This
is better for your wallet, and the planet. |

PA28-140 - 54T
 |
The
Cherokee "140" is the mainstay airplane in our training
fleet. It is an all metal low wing airplane that
is built exceptionally strong to take the daily rigors
of the student training environment. It is a fun
to fly plane having a sporty feeling, meaning it is very
agile and responsive. It is a capable cross
country machine cruising at 130 mph using about eight
and a half gallons of fuel per hour.

|
54T's panel
 |
This 140 is N1854t
and is also used in our instrument training course.
It is equipped with the latest technology in navigation
and has Global Positioning System (GPS) that may be used
for enroute and approaches.

54T is $95.00 dry. Useful load is 763 pounds. |

PA28-140 - 97T
 |
N2397T is our
other primary and instrument trainer. 97T sports a
new Garmin 430/W IFR Certified GPS and is WASS enabled. Other than that she is the
same as 54T in almost every respect.

 |
The rental rate for
97T is $98.00 dry. Useful load is 763 pounds. |

PA28R-200 - 50T
 |
The
Piper Cherokee Arrow is a sleek, fast, economical
airplane. We use 50T for our Commercial Pilot and
Instructor Pilot Certification courses because it has
retractable landing gear and a pilot controlled
propeller. For getting from point A to B there are
not a lot of planes that do a better job based on speed
and fuel used. 50T cruises at 165 mph and uses
only about 9 gallons of fuel per hour doing it.
Few other planes can boast these kinds of numbers.
|
Arrow's Panel
 |
The navigation
equipment in 50T includes dual VOR, ADF, DME, and VFR
GPS. 50T is a true four
place airplane meaning that you may load up all 4 seats,
fill the fuel, add some baggage and still not be over
weight. Most airplanes that have 4 seats have
limited range with all 4 seats full of people.
Rental rate is $115.00 per hour, dry. |
|

 |
For
the instrument pilot that wants to save a lot of
money during training, and to stay proficient, our PCATD
Simulator is the way to go. It is certified to be
used in logging of instrument time for training and
currency.
It can be configured either single or multi engine.
Rental rate is $50.00 including the
instructor. |
